Was the earth made to preserve a few covetous, proud men to live at ease, and for them to bag and barn up the treasures of the earth from others, that these may beg or starve in a fruitful land; or was it made to preserve all her children?

Gerrard Winstanley, 1643

A New Jurisdiction

The Republic of Albion is a new society growing up within the shell of the old. By standing first in embodiment of Natural Law, we can breath life into our ancient common law rights and freedoms. Citizens are united within a new jurisdiction in local Republican Assemblies that replace the existing government structures of the “United Kingdom”.

Assemblies

The Assemblies are lawful bodies where all people can introduce, debate and enact laws in their own communities. These laws are upheld by tribunal and national/international courts and sheriffs/deputies elected by and answerable to the People.

Establish A Charter

This process of returning power to the people will span years but it begins today when twelve or more men and women sign a Charter to establish a local Republican Assembly. A copy of this Charter can be found under "Documents of the Republic".

Join A Local Group

Experience shows us that many of us are not yet ready for self-governance, which is why we form local Republic groups of three people or more. These groups act as catalysts for change through educating each other and mobilising larger numbers to defend our freedoms and work building our own solutions.

You can read about how these groups work in the section of this website entitled “The Republic Cells: An Instruction and Training Manual”.

Every citizen of the Albion Republic joins or forms a Republic group.
